The fourth coronavirus vaccine dose is now recommended for people aged 70-79 years who belong to a risk group

The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) recommends the fourth corona vaccine dose for people aged 70-79 years who belong to a risk group. Risk groups include e.g. people with a severe cardiovascular or pulmonary disease or diabetes. A fourth vaccine dose has already been previously recommended for people over 12 years with a severe immune deficiency, people over 80 years and elderly people living in care homes. Municipalities are responsible for organizing corona vaccinations and will give additional information on where and when vaccines are available.
